2018 Annual Conference
130 Shipyard Drive, Hilton Head Island, SC 29928
November 12-14, 2018
Are you ready to be All IN? If so, make plans to join your colleagues for our annual conference on the beautiful Hilton Head Island. This year's conference is being held Monday, November 12th - Wednesday, November 14th at the Sonesta Resort.
The Conference Committee has worked very hard to make sure the agenda meets the training and professional development needs of the conference attendees. This year's conference highlights include an “Active Shooter Training” by Sheriff Underwood and staff from the Chester County Sheriff’s Office. With the mass shootings occurring in society today, it is essential that campus administrators, staff, and students be prepared for the possibility of violent situations, so they will know how to ideally prevent such an incident, or if one should occur, minimize the loss of life.
Special guests include our “FEDs” David Bartnicki and Tamy Garofano, NASFAA Director of Policy Analysis Karen McCarthy, and SASFAA President-Elect Bill Spires.
Back by popular demand, “Survey Says” our evening entertainment will be full of friendly competition and a “special guest” that promises to give you an evening of fun and lots of laughter.
This will be a valuable time for training, compliance check-ups, networking, and professional development that will equip you with the tools that you need to better serve students and families.
