SCASFAA Virtual Book Club
The Professional Development Committee invites you to attend SCASFAA’s Virtual Book Club for Fall 2021. As an association, we will be reading Anthony Abraham Jack’s The Privileged Poor.
Each month in the Fall/Winter (November-February), we will gather virtually on Zoom to discuss the topics covered in the book & how we can apply them in our work as financial aid administrators. Each session will feature a panel of financial aid administrators (some surprise guests!) sharing their expertise and time for open discussion as a group.
The dates, times, & sections for each Virtual Chat are listed below. Your registration confirmation email will contain the Zoom meeting information, which will be used for each session, at the bottom of the email.
Please register no later than Wednesday, December 15th, 2021!Membership is required to register/attend. To Join or Renew your SCASFAA membership, please visit scasfaa.org/join. Aid administrators who would like to attend but may need assistance with the costs of membership or books can reach out directly to shicks@coastal.edu!
We look forward to “seeing” you soon!
