SCASFAA Leadership Symposium Agenda Clinton College May 21, 2024 Join us for the 2024 SCASFAA one-day Leadership Symposium, where we delve into the essence of continuous improvement in leadership led by Dr. John Mason. We will set the stage for a transformative journey, exploring the significance of refining leadership skills to stay ahead in today's dynamic environment. This will be done through small group work, case studies, and intense conversation. o 9:30-10am – Registration/Check-in o 10:00-10:15am – Welcome and Intro’s o 10:15-11:00am - In Session 1, "Sharpening the Mind," we'll focus on cultivating a growth mindset, honing critical thinking skills, and mastering strategies for mental agility to navigate leadership challenges with precision. o 11:00-12pm - Session 2, "Strengthening Leadership Skills," offers insights into effective communication techniques, the development of emotional intelligence, and the cultivation of resilience and adaptability essential for effective leadership. o 12-1pm LUNCH PROVIDED o 1-1:45pm - In Session 3, "Harnessing Innovation," we'll explore fostering creativity, implementing design thinking, and mastering the art of navigating change to drive innovation within your organization. o 1:45-2:30pm - In Session 4, "Building High-Performance Teams," we'll uncover the secrets to building and sustaining high-performance teams, fostering collaboration and cohesion, and creating a culture of accountability and trust. o 2:30-3pm – Wrap-up
